Rotate 3D Parts > Perpendicular to Plane, Reference Points (3D Menu) |
www.CAD6.com |
This command can be used to rotate multiple 3D parts parallel to a chosen component plane.
The 3D parts to be rotated must be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.
Any component face or construction plane can be identified as the rotation plane by clicking onto the component face or onto the construction plane's elliptical representation's outline.
Any component corner can be identified as the reference point for the rotation by clicking near to it.
Any component corner can be identified as the destination point for the rotation by clicking near to it.
If the duplicate function is active when the last point is entered, a copy of the chosen 3D parts will be created and rotated.
While rotating, the angles are displayed at the crosshairs. If you do not wish this display, you can deactivate it via Configuration > Options > Window.
