3D Corner Identification (Methods) |
www.CAD6.com |
A corner in 3D space is identified by simply clicking near to it. The application will automatically determine the visible corner that is nearest to the click. If no valid corner is available within the snapping radius, a note will be displayed.
Corners that are logically "hidden" by surfaces of 3D parts cannot be identified, even if they are visible due to the component being drawn in transparent edge-only mode or due to drawing order.
Instead of identifying the corner by clicking, you can use the 3D Coordinate Entry to enter 3D coordinates numerically.
If you are working with multiple 3D spaces, only components within the currently active 3D space will be used for corner identification.
