Digitizer > Tracing Calibration (Manage Menu) |
www.CAD6.com |
This command is used to calibrate a connected digitizer so that the traced objects then have the correct size in the drawing.
The start point of the reference distance must be entered with the digitizer's input device using the button which is set for tracing. You can use the mark in the lower left corner of the digitizer template as start point.
The end point of the reference distance must be entered with the digitizer's input device using the button which is set for tracing. You can use the mark in the upper right corner of the digitizer template as end point.
After entering these points, their distance (depending on the scale in use) is calculated and shown in a dialog. You can use this dialog to change the value to the original distance according to your template. The original distance between the two marks on the digitizer template is stated in the upper right corner of the digitizer template.
All subsequently traced points are recalculated according to this calibration.
This command is only available in the Malz++Kassner CAD6 menu if the tablet driver has been installed successfully. For general tips on using digitizers, see Using Digitizers.
