3D Construction Line > Projection of Edge onto Plane (3D Menu)

This command can be used to create a 3D construction line as the projection of an edge onto a plane in 3D space. A construction line behaves like a construction aid line in 3D space.

Any component edge or construction line can be identified as the source line for the projection by clicking near to it.

Any component face or construction plane can be identified as the target plane for the projection by clicking onto the component face or onto the construction plane's elliptical representation's outline.
