Zoom Presets Window (Screen Elements)

www.CAD6.com

Zoom presets are used to store the current zoom (scaling and rotation) along with information about which page is active. This specification can then be retrieved later.

Additionally, the window shows some standard options for adjusting the zoom.

The button "pin" in the top left hand corner enables you to keep the window permanently on the screen when the pin is pinned (and yellow).

To activate a saved zoom preset, you simply double click on a zoom preset name or select the name and click on the button with a green checkmark. The saved zoom preset will immediately be activated. The current page will only be changed if the drawing is in layout mode and the current window is not the Overview Window.

If the pin was not pinned, the window disappears after executing a zoom preset and has to be opened again next time you need it.

To save a zoom preset, choose any one command from the program (e.g. Manage > Zoom > Section) and set the desired zoom area and rotation. Click on the button with the blue plus sign to save the current zoom. You are then asked to enter a name for the new zoom preset. This can be any name with the exception of a star (*) at the beginning. Up to one 100 entries can be stored.

A saved zoom preset can be deleted by selecting the entry and clicking on the button with a red cross. You can only delete entries without a star (*) at the beginning.

You can rename an entry with the button showing an edit mark. Select the entry you want to rename and click on the button. A dialog box appears and you can enter the new name for the zoom preset. You enter a name that begins with a star.
