Surface / Curve > Simplify (Trim Menu)

Existing curves and surfaces can be simplified using this command. This will unite successive line segments and circle arcs to reduce the total number of elements and definition points within the curve or surface.

The tolerances used for the simplification are set in this command's parameters (see "Simplify Curve / Surface" dialog).

The objects to be simplified must be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

After chosing the curves and surfaces, they will be simplified.

Polylines, freehand lines, polygons, and hatchings are stored internally as curves / surfaces and can therefore be manipulated with this command.
