Scale Objects > Factors (Modify Menu)

www.CAD6.com

This command can be used to scale all kinds of objects in the drawing (i.e. change their size). The scaling is done with respect to the center of the frame surrounding the objects.

1.Choose objects

The objects to be scaled have to be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

After choosing the objects, a dialog appears where the horizontal and vertical scaling factors can be entered. The duplicate function can be turned on locally for this command by enabling the "Duplicate" check box.

Once activated, the duplicate function in this dialog remains active until explicitly deactivated again to simplify repeating operations.

Some objects cannot in principle be scaled non-proportionally. Above all, these are circles and circle parts, and also surfaces which contain circle arcs. If you scale such an object non-proportionally, those elements will be converted to ellipses, ellipse parts, or Bézier curves.
