Pen Management > Shade Down (Manage Menu)

This command can be used to shade down pens by identifying objects that are using the desired pens. To shade down a pen means to set the attribute "Shade Down", i.e. the pen will be displayed in a gray color.

Choose the objects whose assigned pens are to be altered. Click on objects to choose them, including objects using locked pens.

After identifying the objects, their pen assignment is determined and all affected pens are shaded down.

This command is not available if pens are switched to passive.
