Position Number > Renumber (Library Menu)

This command can be used to renumber all existing integer position numbers from 1 to 10000. This means that the numerical values of the position numbers will be updated so that no "gaps" exist in the number sequence.

After choosing this command the "Renumber Position Numbers" dialog appears, prompting for whether to keep equal position numbers equal or not. If you choose "Yes", all position numbers that had equal values before will still have equal values afterwards - but not necessarily the same values as before! In addition, you can choose the position number ranges for which the renumbering shall take place.

This process can not be reversed by means of the Undo command!
