Generate Parts List > Export, Complete Drawing (Library Menu)

This command can be used to generate a parts list for the complete drawing.

A parts list is a tabular list of local, global, and implicit attributes defined in blocks and instances in the current drawing as well as the currently loaded libraries. It can be stored in a database and/or a text file. Alternatively, local and implicit attributes of arbitrary objects and groups can also be used.

To do this, the "Generate Parts List" dialog appears, in which the parameters for the parts list can be specified.

A parts list can also be generated if neither global nor local attributes have been defined. Each instance has its own implicit attributes (block name, library name, position etc.), which are always available, and these can be used to generate a parts list.
