Databases > Add / Update Object Data (Library Menu)

This command can be used to add a link to an object from the current drawing to the active database.

After choosing this command the "Add / Update Object Data" dialog appears, where the command's parameters can be edited.

The objects whose data shall be added to the database are chosen.

After choosing the objects their data will be added to the active database. Already existing links with objects are updated. If activated, multiple dialogs for manual data input and a "Database Content" dialog might appear.
