Export to > Malz++Kassner CAD6 (*.MKD) (File Menu)

This command is used to save objects and other elements from the current drawing in a new drawing file.

Malz++Kassner CAD6 drawing files normally have the extension .MKD. However other extensions can be used, which easily leads to confusion.

The objects to be copied must be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

After choosing the objects, the "File Selection" dialog appears in which the file to be used can be chosen. When pressing the "Options" button in the file selection dialog, the "Choose MKD Elements" dialog appears, where the elements to be saved can be chosen.

If the current elements are to be saved without the additional objects, blocks and Construction Aid objects as standard elements, the Manage > Template > Save As Default can be used.
