Screen Display > Object Numbers (Extra Menu)

This command can be used to switch the screen display of object numbers on and off. If the display is active, the numbers of all objects and outlines will be displayed by means of a small field attached to the respective object outline's start point, containing the number.

This setting is part of the drawing settings and can also be modified by means of Manage > Drawing Settings > Screen.
