Advanced Drawing > Spiral (Draw Menu)

This command draws a spiral.

1.Enter center point
The center point of the spiral's outer circle can be entered by clicking the mouse button anywhere in the drawing.

2.Enter radius
The radius of the spiral's outer circle can be entered by clicking the mouse button at any point in the drawing through which the spiral's outer circle should run.

3.Enter angle
After specifying the spiral's outer circle, the spiral can be rotated. To do this, enter the angle (measured from the center of the circle) at which the spiral's start-point shall lie. The angle can be entered by clicking the mouse at any point in the drawing. The position of this point relative to the center determines the angle.

The spiral is stored internally as an extended object. In order to be able to manipulate it using the same commands that can be used on curves, you will first have to resolve it using the Shape > Resolve Extended Objects command.

The spiral is assigned to the current layer. It also contains a reference to the current pen.
