Parametric Compound > Add Freedom, Reference (Library Menu) |
www.CAD6.com |
This command can be used to add a "Reference" freedom to a selected parametric compound.
A reference freedom does not change anything in the compound, thus no points are chosen or entered. Instead, a reference freedom is used to enter reference values that can be used by all subsequent freedoms. They are used as "local" variables that are only visible inside the compound.
The parametric compound to be edited must be chosen. Click on an object to choose it.
After choosing the parametric compound, the "Edit Freedom" dialog appears, in which the parameters for the freedom are entered.
Please refer to Parametric Compounds for general information.
