Status Window (Screen Elements)

www.CAD6.com

The status window has two functions: to display coordinates and other details for the current operation, and the direct entry of coordinates. Its appearance depends upon where the mouse pointer is, and at what stage a command is.

Clicking the mouse button in the status window calls direct coordinate entry (see Coordinate Entry (F8)).

The way in which the status window functions depends on the position of the mouse pointer or crosshairs and the stage of command input.
